Deepak Suryavanshi

Deepak is an Associate Editor at the Springer Applied Sciences and Engineering division, based in Pune, India. He earned his MS in Mathematics from IISER - Trivandrum, Kerala, India. He received his PhD in Geophysics in 2024 from the Department of Earth and Climate Science at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune, India. Before moving to scientific publishing, Deepak worked extensively in the computational domain, applied mathematics, modeling and simulation of earth system models, numerical methods, glacier modeling, and simulation of geophysical systems. He manages several books in Applied Sciences and Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Earth and Environmental Science. His publishing portfolio includes conference proceedings, edited volumes, monographs, and textbooks.
