Information on Abstracting and Indexing
Volumes published as part of the LNCS, LNAI, LNBI, CCIS, IFIP AICT, LNICST or LNBIP series are made available to the following indexing services:
- Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI), part of Clarivate Analytics’ Web of Science
- EI Engineering Index (Compendex and Inspec databases)
- ACM Digital Library
- DBLP
- Google Scholar
- IO-Port
- MathSciNet
- Scopus
- Zentralblatt MATH
Depending on the focus of the particular indexing services, they may decide to only include selected volumes of the series.
Scopus will define any original article reporting data presented at a conference or symposium as a "conference paper" regardless of whether it appears in a journal, a transactions volume, or a proceedings volume.
The above mentioned series are book series publishing mainly proceedings, and not journals. Therefore they are not included in ISI's Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-E) and they do not have an impact factor. However, references to ISI-listed journals that are cited in the papers in those series do contribute to the respective journal’s impact factor.
Please note that some of these services require a paid subscription before allowing users to access their databases.
