Trainee Programs / Editorial Trainees
Tailor-made to an evolving business and a great start for graduates seeking the ideal start in publishing.
The Publishing Traineeship is the classic approach to getting started in the copyediting, editorial and online publishing areas, and is also intended for university graduates.
Trainee Programs
Springer’s Trainee Programs offer qualified university graduates from various disciplines the ideal start in the world of professional publishing. Whether in the STM (Science, Technology & Medicine) field or in one of our professional publishing houses, over 18 - 24 months of combined on-the-job training and project work you will come to know the various areas of our business so intensively that you will be qualified to assume a higher position in the company upon completion.
Our trainee programs are closely tailored to our evolving business and vary in their goals and orientation -- yet all are closely related to day-to-day business and give trainees the chance to take on responsibilities from day one.
