Computational Collective Intelligence

© Springer

These transactions focus on the computer-based methods of Computational Collective Intelligence (CCI) and their applications in a wide range of fields such as semantic web, social networks and multi-agent systems. It aims to provide a forum for the presentation of scientific research and technological achievements accomplished by the international community.

Scope

The topics addressed by this journal include all solutions to real-life problems for which it is necessary to use computational collective intelligence technologies to achieve effective results. The emphasis of the papers published is on novel and original research and technological advancements. Special features on specific topics are welcome.

Transactions on Computational Collective Intelligence (TCCI) strives to cover new methodological, theoretical and practical aspects of computational collective intelligence understood as the form of intelligence that emerges from the collaboration and competition of many individuals (artificial and/or natural). The application of multiple computational intelligence technologies such as fuzzy systems, evolutionary computation, neural systems, consensus theory, etc., aims to support human and other collective intelligence and to create new forms of CCI in natural and/or artificial systems.
Three subfields are given special attention:

  • Semantic web (as an advanced tool increasing collective intelligence);
  • Social network analysis (as the field targeted to the emergence of new forms of CCI);
  • Multiagent systems (as a computational and modeling paradigm especially tailored to capture the nature of CCI emergence in populations of autonomous individuals).

TCCI is a peer reviewed and authoritative reference dealing with Computational Collective Intelligence tools and applications as well as emerging issues of interest to professionals and academics. Papers on key applications, highlighting methods, time schedules and other relevant subjects are welcome.
